Argan oil is the ultimate beauty product. Made from the kernels of the Argan tree, which grows almost exclusively in the south of Morocco, the oil has restorative and anti-aging effects and can be used on the face, body, hair and nails.
Argan oil absorbs easily to give the skin a radiant glow and has been shown to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, strengthen elasticity and improve your skin's overall health and vitality. Extremely rich in Vitamin E and antioxidants, argan oil is believed to help all sorts of skin conditions naturally: dry skin, acne, psoriasis, eczema, wrinkles... It has also been shown to reduce inflammation and assist in protecting the skin from environmental factors.
Truly Moroccan argan oil is unrefined and is in its purest form, so you get the full benefits of the oil. It has not been subjected to the deodorisation process, which involves steam treatment, so please expect the distinct nutty, earthy argan scent. If you find the scent strong on first use, don't be put off, as it disappears completely a few minutes after application to the skin.
Our pure argan oil comes directly from a women's cooperative in the south of Morocco and they hold certification for organic production. The oil has been registered on the CPNP (Cosmetic Products Notification Portal) and we have a full cosmetic product safety report by a registered toxicologist. All our bottled argan oil products are fully compliant with European legislation on cosmetic products.

Argan oil helps Moroccan women become breadwinners
In rural Morocco, women have traditionally not gone out to work, but the soaring demand for Argan oil has changed that. Dozens of cooperatives across the south west of the country now produce the profitable oil which is used in cooking and cosmetics, and it has made many women there the main breadwinners at home.
